OK, this post jumps over several that are in draft mode, so my apologies for the confusing timeline.
It’s been a week (actually 8 days now) on the trail. I’ve been hot, cold, sweaty, shivering, wet, doubting, elated, overwhelmed, and sore. Really sore.
Still, there’s nothing like a simple message laid out in rock in the middle of the trail in the middle of the high desert that reminds you. You work for it, you earn it, you own it. 100 miles on foot with all my belongings on my back feels pretty darn good.
Back to our regularly scheduled program. More posts are coming, I just need more time with WiFi, which seems a bit difficult to nail down in the desert. Hmmm…
Actually sounds refreshing. You’ll do it!

Don’t know if my message got thru?!!?!? So here goes again……..you sound a bit like Joshua and his spies “seeking out the land”. Be courageous….the Lord is with you. And I am praying for your continued health and safety. dave
